oci_field_type

Returns a field's data type name

Description

stringintfalse oci_field_type(resource $statement, stringint $column)

Returns a field's data type name.

Parameters

statement

A valid OCI statement identifier.

column

Can be the field's index (1-based) or name.

Return Values

Returns the field data type as a string or an int, or false on failure
